All the designs are named for great international cities. I am in love with NYC dress, a gorgeous black and white fitted dress that any trendy woman would want!
Included in the book are some of Shannon's own personal tutorials for foundation and finishing techniques. What a bonus! These tutorials are from Shannon's own crochet class, "Fab Foundation and Finishing Class".
Besides the NYC dress, some of my favorites include Rio de Janeiro Sleeveless Hoodie made with Malabrigo Silky Merino.
St. Tropez Butterfly Sleeve Top, stitched in the Star Stitch in Naturally Caron SPA,

Bangkok Jacket, crocheted in the Spike Wedge Stitch in Naturally Caron Country (left); AND
Los Angeles, crocheted in Spike Stitch pattern in Classic Elite Wool Bam Boo. (center).

My first wearable crochet item was a hat. This looks like a wonderful book and I have just the spot for it on the book shelf! :o) I'm a follower and you can reach me through my blog link. Thanks!
That's a fantastic looking book! Some really great patterns. =)
My first wearable item was probably slippers for a friend of mine. Crazy to try to think back 'that far' to what wasn't just another dishcloth project. ;-)

I LOVE the sweater on the front cover! I love green and the fabric looks amazing, I can't figure out how it is crochet from the picture! Thanks for the chance to win!

My first wearable item would be the Bangkok if I win this.
My first wearable item I made was a hot pink shawl I made back in my teenage days in the 70s! I'm a follower of your blog so I hope I'm eligible for the drawing. Thanks!
This would be a great book to start my crochet book collection with.
I love all the designs in the Urban Edge. Would like to start with the St. Tropez Butterfly Sleeve Top.
My first crochet project was a granny square pillow. The first wearable was probably a scarf... long long ago in a place far far away. I am a follower so you can reach me through my blog link as well. Also dvorag on ravelry.
The first wearable crochet item I made was a floppy hat circa the 1960's in a variegated red/pink/white yarn! It makes me smile/chuckle every time I think of it!

I've only made fingerless gloves - haven't been that brave so far! The book looks fab. Am in the uk though, not sure if you will post that far.
I can be reached via my blog.
My first wearable was a crochet chemo hat that I made for a friend. I'm not sure she actually has worn it, though! LOL
I forgot to leave my email!

my first item was a hat. I am just starting to get into clothing.
My first crocheted garment was a long yellow scarf. And I just can't stop. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great book. My email is. Vlgimmelli@gmail.com
Thank you.
I can't remember the first wearable that I crocheted since I've been crocheting over 40 years. The first wearable that is memorable to me was my second son's christening outfit, pants, sweater, cap and booties in that white yarn with the shimmery thread through it. Thanks for your review and hosting the giveaway.
First wearable crocheted.. hmm I think it was a scarf.. then came a hat...repeated a few times then a shawl.. and that was where blankets came in. XD (Dooown the rabbit hole)
My first wearable crochet piece was a hat for my preemie son.
The book looks absolutely awesome!
Thank you for hosting the giveaway.
When I first learned to crochet (back in the 80's) I thought the only thing you could make was an afghan! So it was some time before I made my first wearable item!
My first wearable...like so many others...was a hat.
Great review. Enjoying the blog tour.
My first wearable crochet item (outside of scarves and hats) was a mesh raglan pullover that was part of a CAL. Somehow I got lucky that I made the correct size being that I was pregnant while I crocheted it so I wasn't able to try it on for a true fit as I went...yikes! I still love it though :) My e-mail is on my blogger profile :) Thanks for the chance to win!
These urban edge designs are sooo chic..crochet in the 21st century Wow! Thanks Jocelyn for keeping us current & cutting edge! <3 from
Jacalyn!
I suppose my first wearable item was a pair of mittens for my sister. Then I skipped over scarves and hats and went straight to making a single crochet cardigan.
